We'll survey for Yellow-billed cuckoo by splitting into two groups to walk 3-miles and 5-miles (round trip total) of the Agua Fria River. Meet in Phx at 4:45am to carpool and arrive at the sites by dawn. Mostly flat walking at a moderate pace in the sandy, rocky river bottom. Cool shady start, warm by the end. Expect muddy or wet crossings. Finish by ~ 11:00am, return to Phx by 1pm.
