Silver Ck tributary hike

This hike highlights the role of the Brooklyn wildfire 3 years ago and its impacts on the hillside vegetation and runoff.  We'll also see the effects of recent high flow on the Agua Fria River.  Hike is ~1.5 miles round trip.  This hike has more rocks than the walk on Badger Wash.  Expect some flowing water and muddy conditions.  Hopefully the cottonwood trees are turning golden, so bring your camera.  Total drive time from Phx is ~ 85 minutes.

From I-17 drive 8 miles (25 minutes) east on the bumpy Bloody Basin Road, and meet at 8:00 am at the Silver Creek Outhouse.  Additional hike details are sent to registrants.
